The Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey awards the opportunity for disabled adults and children to forget their medical struggles and experience the fun adapted sport of sled hockey.
Enjoying a great time on the ice with friends reduces time spent sedentary, increases stamina, and enhances the physical benefits of exercise. Participating in a team sport provides informal mentoring with coaches, volunteers, and teammates who help athletes achieve the skills for everyday life. Our mission will always remain to ensure that there is an opportunity for children and adults of all abilities to enjoy the sport of hockey both therapeutically and competitively.
