More than Sled Hockey

More than sled hockey, our organization enhances the lives of our disabled athletes far beyond the ice. Disabled individuals rarely have the opportunity to explore their potential through sports. Once perspective athletes experience the freedom of skating in a sled, they are quickly hooked on sled hockey. Although they sign up for sled hockey as an individual, they become an athlete reaping the health benefits of increased stamina, endurance, confidence, and strength. As their hockey skills evolve, so does their sense of accomplishment, self-appreciation and pride.
